On WordPress websites, I’ve set up WooCommerce as an e-commerce solution and added their Square plugin as the payment processor.

Square updates inventory from the website (or the other way around if you prefer), so product counts are always up to date whether you sell online, in person, or both.

Integrated Payments

If you do business in person, Square can handle all your payment processing needs. Square readers and devices integrate with cash registers in your store. Your Square readers serve as standalone payment processors, keeping your inventory current at outdoor markets, festivals or anywhere that takes you on the road.

If you need to invoice clients as a freelancer, Square offers a built-in flow of estimates, contracts and invoices within projects so you can focus on your work and let Square do the billing work.

If your business is appointment-based, you can use the built-in Square Appointments app to schedule appointments and take payments automatically.
